1. Our outpatient opioid addiction treatment program follows the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) guidelines for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), ensuring comprehensive and evidence-based care for individuals struggling with opioid addiction.
2. Initial Assessment: Upon admission, patients undergo a thorough assessment, including a comprehensive medical and psychological evaluation, to determine their specific treatment needs and eligibility for MAT.
3. Medication Selection: Based on the assessment results and SAMHSA guidelines, appropriate FDA-approved medications are prescribed as part of the MAT protocol. Commonly used medications include suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone, each tailored to the patient’s individual needs.
4. Individualized Treatment Plan: A personalized treatment plan is developed for each patient, incorporating MAT alongside referred counseling, behavioral therapies, and other supportive interventions to address the physical, emotional, and social aspects of opioid addiction.
5. Ongoing Medical Monitoring: Our medical team closely monitors patients throughout treatment, adjusting medication doses as needed to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects.
